Prof. Verónica Andrea González-López
University of CampinasV.A. González-López is Associate Professor of Statistics at University of Campinas, Brazil. She received the Habilitation degree in Statistics (2018) and the Ph.D. degree in Statistics (1999) both from the University of São Paulo, Brazil, and the Bachelor of Mathematics from the National University of Córdoba, Argentina (1995). Fellowships: Postdoctoral fellowships from FAPESP at University of São Paulo (2001-2003) and from UBATEC at University of Buenos Aires (2000), Argentina. Fellowship from CAPES for its Ph.D. at University of São Paulo (1995-1999). She published more than 50 full papers, most of them in specialized journals as Applied Stochastic Models in Business and Industry, Stochastic Modelling and Applications, Chemometrics and Intelligent Laboratory Systems, Communications in Statistics, Entropy, Journal of Computational Methods in Sciences and Engineering, Journal of Multivariate Analysis, Mathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, Symmetry, Theory and Decision, 4Open. Services to the Academic Community: Chairperson of IASC-LARS: 2021-2022 Chairperson Elect of IASC-LARS: 2019-2020.
