Dr. Rafael Moral

Dr Rafael Moral holds a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences and a Master's and Doctor's degree in Statistics and Agronomic Experimentation from ESALQ-USP. He is currently a professor at Maynooth University, Ireland, where he works in the Statistics and Data Science programs. Rafael develops statistical methods applied in animal ecology and agriculture. In 2020, when universities started offering classes remotely, Rafael started producing parodies of well-known songs to teach statistics. He uses images of his pets (two dogs and two rabbits) in his videos to make them more attractive, especially for those students who don't like, or are afraid of, math and statistics.
