Pedro Ramos

Pedro Luiz Ramos is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Statistics in Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. He was a Postdoc fellow from the University of São Paulo from 2018 until 2021.  He received his Ph.D. degree in Statistics from the University of São Paulo in 2018, his M.S. degree in Applied and Computational Mathematics from the São Paulo State University, Brazil, and his B.S. degree in Statistics from the same university. He has a recognized record of research demonstrated by the 70 papers published or accepted for publication in international academic journals. His main research interests are in Bayesian inference, survival analysis, quality control and reliability.
