Post-Conference Tour | Second WP Meeting

For those attending our event we offer a post-event tour in partneship with Impacto Ecoturismo

Here is our itinerary:

Sep 22nd – Departure at 07am from Campo Grande to Bonito. Arrival and check-in at the Hotel. Afternoon tour of LIGHT RAFTING IN FORMOSO RIVER - A
big adventure in rubber boats with capacity for 14 people. A 6km journey on Formoso River, up to the Priest’s Island passing over 5 light falls, with the
chance of spotting local fauna and flora on the edges of the gallery forest. After the last fall, visitors will have the chance to swim and relax for a while.
Then you can enjoy the rest of the day at ECO PARK PORTO DA ILHA SPA – The Formoso River divides itself in several canals, forming an island. With small
waterfalls and natural pools. Visitor can also choose optional activities such as rafting, tubbing, duck or SUP (admission tickets for optional activities must
be purchased in advance). Return to the hotel. Dinner at the hotel. Free night. Overnight.

Floating at Formoso River

Sep 23rd – Breakfast and departure from the hotel for the SÃO MIGUEL CAVE - Located in the Anhumas Valley Ecological Park, tour starts with short a
video presentation followed by an exciting tree canopy walk through a 180m suspension bridge continuing on a 150m trail until the entrance of one of the
most ancient cavities in the planet. São Miguel is a dry cave with different geological formations where unspoiled nature shows off its corals and
limestone nests. At the reception bar, bathrooms and a gift shop. All gear necessary for the tour is included. Return to the city. The afternoon tour of
BARRA DO SUCURI – Snorkeling Tour -This tour is also operated at Sucuri River where visitors will be met at the Main House to try and test the necessary
gear and then start a 400 meters light hike up to the river where the tour starts. An electric motor will help the boat slowly go 1.300mts upstream,
contemplating all the beauty of the gallery forest and the river views from inside the boat, reaching a floating wooden platform at the end and snorkeling
all the way back on the same circuit, but with an underwater perspective of the beauties of one of the most transparent rivers in the world. Return to the
hotel. Dinner at the hotel. Free night. Overnight.

Gruta São Miguel

Sep 24th – Breakfast and departure from the hotel for the WATERFALLS PARK – Hiking and waterfalls with lunch – Tour starts with a 1.600mts light hike
through the Mimoso River´s gallery forest, where visitors will have the chance to observe local fauna and flora stopping from time to time to refresh in one
of the six wonderful waterfalls, small caves and natural pools formed by countless layers of limestone and organic matter deposited on top of each other
over the years. Lunch at the main house with typical food. Return to the hotel. Dinner at the hotel. Free night. Overnight.

Waterfalls

Sep 25th – Breakfast. Day at leisure at the Hotel. Check out and departure to Campo Grande.
