The author responsible for submitting the abstract must be registered for the event.

The submission of up to two (02) abstracts per registration will be allowed. 

The author responsible for the submission must indicate the preference for Oral or Poster Presentation and inform the thematic axis in which the abstract fits:

• Interactions between biopolymers and their impact on the structure;
• Interfacial Engineering;
• New processes and ingredients;
• Food colloids as a vehicle for bioactives: digestibility and bioavailability;
• Food colloids and health (bioactive peptides, allergenicity);
• Colloids for edible films.

Results must not have been published prior to the event.

There is no maximum number of authors per Abstract.

Abstracts and posters must be written in English. Abstracts must have up to 500 words, according to the available template:

Abstracts will be evaluated by two members of the Scientific Committee and, in case of disagreement, by a third member. The criteria used for evaluation will be: Originality, Scientific Merit, Adequacy to the theme of the congress, Results and Conclusions.

Posters must measure 90 x 120 cm (width x height).

• Oral presentations will last 10 minutes, followed by another 5 minutes for questions.
• The poster sessions will last 30 minutes, and the presence of one of the authors is mandatory.

Oral presentations may be in Portuguese, English or Spanish. The slides must be written in English.
