ABOUT THE AWARD FOR RESEARCH ABSTRACT
1. Awards for the abstracts of undergraduate students, post-doctoral students, and researchers/professors from public and private institutions, presented at XX CBB.
2. Authors interested in competing for the awards for research abstract should:
a) At the time of submission, select the icon indicating that the abstract will be competing for the award.
b) Send the abstract through the online platform (participant area) according to the template provided by the congress.
c) Attach on the online platform, a letter of appointment of the abstract (on letterhead of the institution, with the support of the advisor - when applicable - and saved in PDF). The nomination letter, written by the first author, should indicate, at most 500 words, why the abstract is worthy of the award for the Best Research Abstract of the congress, considering the selected thematic area. The letter should demonstrate how original, innovative, important and significant the abstract is. The letter should also include a statement that most of the abstract was developed by the first author and the thematic area of the abstract (not part of the 500 words of the justification).
3. The papers will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee by Thematic Area: clinical biomechanics; sports biomechanics; musculoskeletal biomechanics; biomechanics teaching; ergonomics, assistive technology and prostheses; locomotion and posture; models and data analysis in biomechanics; and motor control. The evaluation will be carried out from the submitted abstract, appointment letter and presentation. The abstracts that are competing for the award must be presented as poster presentation. The poster template must follow the poster presentation standards, and it must indicate that the abstract is competing for the award at the event.
4. The Judging Committee will evaluate the abstracts during the event, and will indicate their classification.
5. Three (3) abstracts in each thematic area will be awarded.
ABOUT THE ISB POSTGRADUATE STUDENT AWARDS
1. Awards for the abstracts of postgraduate students (master and doctorate) from public and private institutions, presented at XX CBB.
2. Authors interested in competing for the awards for research abstract should:
a) At the time of submission, select the icon indicating that the abstract will be competing for the award.
b) Send the abstract through the online platform (participant area) according to the template provided by the congress.
c) Attach on the online platform, a letter of appointment of the abstract (on letterhead of the institution, with the support of the advisor - when applicable - and saved in PDF). The nomination letter, written by the first author, should indicate, at most 500 words, why the abstract is worthy of the ISB Postgraduate Student Awards for the Best Research Abstract of the congress, considering the selected thematic area. The letter should demonstrate how original, innovative, important and significant the abstract is. The letter should also include a statement that most of the abstract was developed by the first author and the thematic area of the abstract (not part of the 500 words of the justification).

The prices will be sponsored by International Society of Biomechanics (ISB). *The value of the Brazilian real that will be used for the award will be R$5.10
"WALTER HERZOG" AWARD FOR UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCH FELLOW IN BIOMECHANICS
1. Awards for the abstract of undergraduate research fellow presented at XX CBB.
2. Authors interested in competing for the "Walter Herzog" award for the best undergraduate research abstract should:
a) At the time of submission, select the icon indicating that the abstract will be competing for the "Walter Herzog" Award for Undergraduate Research.
b) Send the abstract through the online platform (participant area) according to the template provided by the congress.
c) After selecting that the submission will be competing for this award, 1) attach on the online platform an expanded abstract (with a maximum of 5 pages, double spacing, Times New Roman, letter size 12, including a maximum of 2 figures or tables, not including references). The expanded abstract should include: the thematic area, the problem, the justification of the problem, method, results, and discussion of the results and their significance. The list of bibliographic references should be included in the same document on a separate Vancouver-style page; and 2) attach a letter of appointment written by the advisor (on letterhead of the institution, signed by the advisor and saved in PDF). The nomination letter, written by the advisor with a maximum of 500 words, should indicate why the student abstract is worthy of the "Walter Herzog" award for The Best Undergraduate Research Abstract. The letter should demonstrate how original, innovative, important and significant the work is. The letter should also include a statement indicating that most of the work was developed by the student of scientific initiation (first author). In the case of papers with multiple authors, the advisor should indicate the contribution of each author. Furthermore, the letter must contain a statement that undergraduate research is recognized by a Higher Education Institution. These last three items are not part of the 500 words of the justification.
3. Six (6) undergraduate research abstracts will be selected by the Scientific Committee. These abstracts should be presented in the Oral presentation session, exclusive for the abstracts competing for the "Walter Herzog" Award.
4. The Judging Committee will evaluate the abstracts during the event, and will indicate their classification. In the session, the student will have 10 minutes of presentation, followed by 5 minutes of questions from members of the Judging Committee and the general public.
5. The first three (3) classified papers will be awarded, regardless of the subject area to which they belong.
