The upcoming sixth edition of Workshop on Inflammation will once again gather world-renowned researchers and students in Rio de Janeiro for two days of scientific presentations and engaging discussions on the role of cells and mediators of inflammatory response in homeostasis and diverse disease states.  There will be two poster sessions and selected submitted abstracts will be presented in oral communications sessions. All presented abstracts will be considered for awards to be presented at the closing ceremony.

The event is targeted towards Researchers, Postdocs, Health Professionals, Graduate and Undergraduate Students in Health, Biomedical, and Biological Sciences, Pharmacology, Biophysics, Immunology, and Biotechnology.

As in previous editions, around 400 participants are expected in the Workshop. 

There will be an outreach event for high school students during the Workshop. Students and researchers will interact with them on the role and impacts of inflammation in health and disease.
