Have you ever wondered if through your research you could make the world a better place? Have you ever wanted to know more about how others conduct their research? In this session, Professor Anna S. CohenMiller (award-winning methodologist and TEDx speaker) invites us to think about these questions and ways to become "better" researchers. She offers examples of "stories" of transformation in research from across the globe, showing how adult learning theory intersects powerfully with qualitative inquiry and arts-based approaches. Through an interactive discussion, Anna invites us into conversation across disciplinary and cultural backgrounds to think about our own stories, and how we can embrace the power of research to shape a more inclusive and just world by creating positive change within ourselves, our practice, and our research.
