Starting in 2008, the Unicamp Scientific and Technological Park project went through several phases and has been consolidating itself as an ecosystem focused on the transfer of knowledge and innovation. Being located at Unicamp, the environment allows students and researchers to work together with startups, incubator companies and R&D laboratories, generating knowledge applied to emerging technological developments in different sectors and branches of industry.
The partnership between university talents and the private sector, in the same environment, promotes new ideas and businesses that strengthen ties between academia and the market. Advancing this partnership model to include society, the Unicamp Innovation Agency (INOVA), created in 2023, seeks to establish a greater relationship with civil society with the aim of improving and implementing research, teaching and impactful knowledge production activities socio-environmental.
