Yves Tillé

Professor at the University of Neuchâtel. He holds a PhD in statistics from the Université libre de Bruxelles, where he was an assistant and researcher. He was then a lecturer at the École nationale de la statistique et de l'analyse de l'information (ENSAI, Rennes, France) and a researcher at the Laboratoire de statistiques d'enquêtes (LSE) of the Centre de recherche en économie et en statistique (CREST). Since 2001, Yves Tillé is a full professor at the University of Neuchâtel. His research interests are survey statistics and sampling theory. More specifically, his research focuses on planning techniques with auxiliary information, complex sampling designs, sample coordination, foundations of inference, estimation methods in finite populations, precision estimation in complex designs, treatment of measurement errors (non-response). He is the author of several books, including "Sampling and estimation from finite population" and "Sampling algorithms", as well as some sixty publications in international statistical journals.
