Dr(a). Andrés Gutierrez

Regional Expert on Social Statistics from the ECLAC Statistics Division, where he provides advice and assistance to National Statistical Offices and other institutions of the National Statistical Systems of beneficiary countries on social statistics, survey methodology, and small area estimation, with particular emphasis on the Sustainable Development Goals monitoring framework. Currently he also serves as one of the vice-presidents and member of the Executive Committee of the International Association of survey Statisticians. He holds a master and doctoral degree in statistics and has written books, papers, and software related to survey sampling, Bayesian statistics and statistical inference.
