The Ibero-American Congress of Food Engineering (CIBIA XV) is promoted by the Ibero-American Society of Food Engineering (SIBIA) and organized by faculty members from the School of Animal Science and Food Engineering (FZEA) at the University of São Paulo (USP) and the School of Food Engineering (FEA) at the University of Campinas (UNICAMP).
This event is supported by the Food Research Center (FoRC), coordinated by FCF-USP—one of the Research, Innovation and Dissemination Centers (RIDC) funded by FAPESP (2013/07914-8)—and the Science Center for Development: Solutions for post-consumption waste - packaging and products (CCD Circula), coordinated by ITAL, also funded by FAPESP (2021/11967-6).
CIBIA XV aims to discuss and debate current themes at the frontier of the state-of-the-art in Food Engineering and related fields. We expect to hold a highly dynamic event, attracting young people to discuss key points of the transition we are currently experiencing with senior researchers, and to identify elements that could contribute to public policy proposals in the food sector.
