RACHEL CREAMER, JOANN K. WHALEN

Rachel Creamer is professor of soil health and monitoring at Wageningen University and Research. Rachel works on soil health projects all over the world, but with a primary focus on soil health monitoring in Europe. She coordinates a large EU soil health project: BENCHMARKS – which is defining soil health from a multi-functionality perspective, allowing for the design of monitoring systems both for local management decision making at for monitoring, reporting and valuing (MRV) across scales of assessment. Author of over 100 publications which address scientific advances and applications in the realm of soil health assessment and soil quality. Her ambition to provide knowledge and understanding of how soil functions and translating this into useable tools for soil health assessment across scales.
