The animal kingdom life is characterised by complexity and diversity. In this talk I will discuss the theoretical frameworks of the morphospace, a "museum of possible forms", and the toolkit of morphometrics to rigorously study "the shape of life". I will demonstrate these with highlights from my research on sea snakes and frogs.
