Fernanda Aparecida Ferrari Soares

Fernanda Aparecida Ferrari Soares is a Biologist and Postdoctoral Researcher at the Cytogenetics and Cytometry Laboratory of the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV). Her research integrates cytogenetics, flow cytometry, molecular biology, and genotoxicity within "omics" contexts for various plant and animal species. Currently, she works in partnership with AMPLO Engenharia under the supervision of Professor Dr. Wellington Ronildo Clarindo, focusing on the Biodiversity Monitoring Program to evaluate genotoxic impacts on bioindicator populations following the B1 dam collapse at the Córrego do Feijão mine in Brumadinho, MG.
