Cosme Damião Cruz

Cosme Damião Cruz is an Agronomist and Full Professor at the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV). He is a leading researcher in the field of quantitative genetics applied to plant breeding, biometrics, and bioinformatics. His work focuses heavily on data analysis, statistical modeling, genomic selection, and the development of computational tools and software (such as Genes and Gbol) widely used by breeders and researchers across Brazil.
