Breno Machado de Almeida

Breno Machado de Almeida is a Biologist and Postdoctoral Researcher at the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV). His research focused significantly on plant genetics and botany, with a particular emphasis on the genetic diversity of peppers (genus Capsicum) using morphoagronomic and cytogenetic markers. Breno has extensive experience in bioinformatics tools and molecular techniques applied to in silico mapping and cytogenomics of mobile elements within plant genomes.
