Dr. Jamie Layton holds a bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Missouri-Columbia (USA), and a master's degree from the same institution in Plant Genetics and Breeding. She has experience in molecular breeding in corn, wheat, and sunflower. Currently, she is a Research Scientist at Corteva Agriscience in Montech (FRA), working on organizing, implementing, and analyzing molecular breeding projects for sunflower breeding regions in Europe, Russia, and Ukraine, moreover, she implements new molecular sunflower breeding technologies.
