Dear colleagues,

Due to the current scenario and the restrictions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic and following the protocols and guidelines defined by the governmental spheres, the Board of GEDIIB, the Executive Secretariat and the President of the Commission decided to maintain the 2nd. Brazilian Week of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (SEBRADII) in 100% virtual format.

Our commitment is, above all, to ensure the safety and well-being of all those involved (congressmen, speakers, organization and support teams) in an event of this size and at this moment.

With a constant focus on scientific updating, the 2nd SEBRADII is already the largest scientific event of Inflammatory Bowel Disease in Latin America and will bring several news together with the main themes of the original programming, with live and recorded activities, thus aiming to facilitate the access to all this content of this new programming.

This year, SEBRADII will have 5 days of activities with live broadcasts, including the final of the Prof. Sender Miszputen, the traditional Pre-Congress courses, in addition to the congress schedule. We also include integrative activities and competitions among members.

I emphasize that the member GEDIIB in default has already guaranteed his free registration for the 2nd SEBRADII, all he needs to do is register on the website.

We hope and wish to see you again soon in the face-to-face events and that the impacts of this pandemic are as small as possible for everyone.
