To assist you during your stay at the event at the Museum of Tomorrow, from June 25 to 28, 2025, we suggest the following areas for accommodation. These neighborhoods are considered safe and offer easy access to the event venue:

 

Leme

Description: A quiet, family-friendly neighborhood located at the beginning of Copacabana Beach. It offers a more reserved atmosphere, beautiful scenery, and close proximity to the ocean.

Access to the Museum of Tomorrow:

Public Transport (approx. 1-hour travel time): Use the Cardeal Arcoverde metro station (Line 1). Take the train in the direction of Uruguaiana and get off at Uruguaiana station. From there, you can walk or take the VLT (light rail) to the Parada dos Museus stop, which is close to the Museum of Tomorrow.

For Brasilians (persons with CPF) the Jaé Transporte App works well.

Uber/Taxi (RECOMMENDED!): The ride takes at least 30 minutes, depending on traffic.

 

Copacabana

Description: One of the most famous neighborhoods in Rio de Janeiro, known for its iconic beach and wide variety of hotels, restaurants, and shops.

Access to the Museum of Tomorrow:

Public Transport (approx. 1-hour travel time): The area is served by the Siqueira Campos, Cardeal Arcoverde, and Cantagalo metro stations (Line 1). Take the train in the direction of Uruguaiana and get off at urugaiana station. From there, walk or take the VLT (light rail) to the Parada dos Museus stop.

For Brasilians (persons with CPF) the Jaé Transporte App works well.

Botafogo

Description: A residential and commercial neighborhood offering beautiful views of Sugarloaf Mountain, with a variety of bars, restaurants, and shopping malls.

Access to the Museum of Tomorrow:

Public Transport: The Botafogo metro station (Line 1) provides easy access. Take the train toward Uruguaiana and get off at Uruguaiana station. From there, walk or take the VLT (light rail) to the Parada dos Museus stop.

For Brasilians (persons with CPF) the Jaé Transporte App works well.

Uber/Taxi: The trip takes approximately 15 to 25 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.

 

Flamengo

Description: A peaceful neighborhood featuring the large Flamengo Park, ideal for walking and outdoor activities. It offers a good selection of hotels and is close to the city center.

Access to the Museum of Tomorrow:

Public Transport: The area is served by the Flamengo and Largo do Machado metro stations (Line 1). Take the train toward Uruguaiana and get off at Uruguaiana station. From there, walk or take the VLT (light rail) to the Parada dos Museus stop.

Uber/Taxi: The trip to the Museum of Tomorrow takes approximately 15 to 20 minutes.

 

Additional Tips: When choosing your accommodation, check its proximity to a Line 1 (Orange) metro station, as this will make it easier to get to the Museum of Tomorrow and other areas of the city.
