06-Processing, Analysis and Visualization of Geospatial Data with R

The R user community is very active and has been making its applications free available, compiled in package form, making it the main language for data processing, analysis, and visualization. Currently, more than 18 thousand packages are available in the public repositories (CRAN) of R. Several of these packages are directed or useful for the processing of Geospatial data. Therefore, the knowledge and mastery of this tool is a differential in the career of professionals who work with this data. The purpose of this mini-course is to make accessible to the Remote Sensing community, the tools and techniques used and/or developed by Lapig (Laboratory of Image Processing and Geoprocessing - UFG), for the processing, analysis, and visualization of Geospatial data.
