Brazil is one of the world leaders in food production and reference in technical/scientific solutions for Tropical Agriculture. In order to deal with climate changes challenges, the sustainable increases in productivity is one of the key strategic objectives of the Brazilian agriculture, especially low emission of greenhouse gases (GHGs) in the Land Use Land Cover (LULC) processes, constituting the so-called Low Carbon Agriculture (LCA).The adoption of the low-carbon technologies allied to the implementation of the brazilian forest code are strategic public policies for the NDCs (Nationally Determined Contributions - COP 15 (Conference of All Parts)). Part of the challenge of this process lies in Monitoring, Reporting and Verifying (MRV) in internationally accepted parameters, if such initiatives exist, where they are in the territory, and how much they contribute to the balance of GHGs. This session presents state-of-the-art innovations and results in Remote Sensing and Geotechnologies, for MRV applications, involving the use of remote multisensors and crowdsourcing, resulting in the Soil Organic Carbon (SOC) large scale monitoring, as well as in carrying out the multi-scale GHGs balance
