The technology of remote sensing by Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) makes it possible to obtain a huge variety of cartographic products from large areas, quickly and economically, with great quality and in any weather and lighting conditions, including under vegetation. However, in addition to traditional cartographic products, SAR has also been used to perform several other applications in a very innovative way and achieving results that prove its effectiveness.
