Date and time:

14:00 to 15:30 on 04/03/2023

Since 2018, several new sensor technologies have been available on the International Space Station and on-board of independent satellites, including a suite of hyperspectral sensors (DESIS, HISUI, EMIT, PRISMA, EnMAP). They have provided simultaneous, unprecedented observations of the Earth’s surface. Several new Earth observation sensors are also envisaged for launch in the near future. In this Thematic Session, we will approach the specifications and capabilities of these instruments and how they can be used to constrain local, regional and global models and improve our understanding of terrestrial systems.
