UNICAMP is one of Brazil’s and LATAM's leading Universities, located in the state of São Paulo (see map below).
Divided into three campuses, ISP 2025 will take place in the main campus in Campinas, which features a vast health complex, 24 teaching and research units, 23 interdisciplinary centers, two technical colleges, and various support units, hosting around 50,000 people. Despite its young age (UNICAMP was founded on October 5, 1966), the university has a strong tradition of teaching, research, and societal engagement. It has trained over 65,000 professionals who contribute significantly to Brazil's economic and social development. UNICAMP contributes to 8% of Brazil's academic research and 12% of its national graduate studies. The university excels in patents and scientific publications, with 99% of its professors holding doctorate degrees. It has approximately 34,000 students enrolled in 66 undergraduate courses and 153 graduate programs (see video below for further info).
