PHOTOGRAPHIC EXHIBITION GUIDELINES
1. THEME
Nature: from traditional knowledge to health innovation
2. OBJECTIVE
To encourage artistic and cultural production and value the importance of nature and natural products for health through photographic records.
3. PARTICIPATION
The photographic exhibition will be held during ICNPHH-2023, from October 9 to 11, 2023.
Those enrolled in the ICNPHH–2023 can participate in the photographic exhibition, after confirmation of registration payment.
4. RULES FOR SENDING PHOTOGRAPHY
Only unpublished photography will be accepted, that is, that have not yet been partially or fully published, including on the internet, and that are within the proposal.
Each participant may compete with 1 (one) photography.
Photography may be in color or black and white and must be sent in digital format, in accordance with the following rules:

Photography must be sent in JPEG format. The minimum image size must be 1000 x 1000 px and a maximum of up to 4800 px on its longest side (vertical or horizontal). The file size in megabytes must be a maximum of 04MB.

Authors must upload the file via google drive and insert the link with access permission in a specific area of the event's website by August 20, 2023.

The photography must be sent free of marks that identify the author or logo.

The photography cannot undergo manipulations such as: removal or addition of part of the main subject, relocation of subjects and content, color change, use of filter, crop above 40% of the original image or that has been digitally distorted.

The author must entitle the photograph and indicate the date the image was captured.

Contextualizing the photo is optional.

The author must provide authorization for the use of the image, if his photograph contains people and private places.
The submitted images must not show content that:

May cause damage to third parties, whether by defamation, injury or slander, material damage and/or moral damage.

Present obscenity and pornography

Offend against freedom of belief and religion.

Contain racist or discriminatory data or information.

Intend to promote product, service or any commercial purpose.

Make electoral advertising or spread favorable or contrary opinion to any party or candidate.

Have been produced by third parties.
5. SELECTION, FINALISTS AND BEST PHOTOGRAPHS
The Judging Committee will be composed of professionals in the field, photographers and designers.
The selection of photographs will consider the theme approach, creativity, originality and technical quality.
Depending on the number of photographs submitted, the 50 best photographs will be pre-selected for exhibition during ICNPHH-2023. Of these, the 3 (three) best photographs will be selected.
The revelation of the 3 (three) best photographs will be on October 11, 2023, during the ICNPHH-2023 closing ceremony.
The authors of the best photographs will receive certificates according to the classification obtained.
To preserve the fairness of the process, the Organizing Committee reserves the right to only disclose the names of the members of the Judging Committee in the revelation of the 3 (three) best photographs, at the closing ceremony of ICNPHH-2023.
6. GENERAL INFORMATION
Padre Albino University Center (UNIFIPA), that is the organizer of ICNPHH-2023, disclaims responsibility for moral or material damages arising from the use of the image to publicize the competition or for exhibition, the author being solely responsible.
Simply registering for the event will give UNIFIPA the right to use the images, photos and testimonials of participants on the website and in other promotional materials, with due credit reference. There can be no copyright charge.
The simple registration in the Photo Contest already presupposes acceptance and agreement with all the terms of this Regulation. The inscription also recognizes the absence of plagiarism, assuming full authorship.
The ICNPHH-2023 Organizing Committee may suspend the Contest, without any participant having the right to complain.
Omissions will be decided by the ICNPHH-2023 Organizing Committee, with no appeal against its decisions.
