IB/UNICAMP – BRAZILI have a degree in Biological Sciences and got a Master and Doctor degree in Physiology from the University of São Paulo. Postdoc in Molecular Pathophysiology of Cancer in Aston University, Birmingham, England. Currently, I am an Associate Professor at the University of Campinas, Sao Paulo, Brazil, working in the field of Physiology and Biochemistry, with an emphasis on Molecular Biology and Nutrition, mainly on the following topics: Cancer Cachexia, Protein Metabolism, Nutritional Supplementation, Experimental Models of Cachexia (Carcinosarcoma Walker-256, colon adenocarcinoma MAC16, colon carcinoma C26) Development and Growth and Pregnancy.
