Stephanie Stock

Stephanie Stock is a physician and health economist and a full professor for applied Health economics and patient-centered care at the University Hospial of Cologne. She is the acting head of the Institute of Health Economics and Clinical Epidemiology of the University of Cologne and has been involved in public health processes, such as the implementation of structured, patient-centered care for Diabetes patients at a national level in Germany. Prof. Stock won the prestigious Harkness / Robert Bosch fellowship in Health Care Policy in 2007 / 2008 and is a nationally and internationally renowned expert in the area of chronic and patient-centered care. Her research areas include cost of illness studies for chronic diseases, patient information and patient preferences as basis for individualized treatment and costeffectiveness analyses. Stephanie Stock is a member of the German society for health economics; the German society for health care services research.
