Título: Surveillance of Arbovirosis and Methodological Issues: 11 years of Infodengue
 

Resumo: In this conference, I will outline the key models shaping decision-making in disease control, explore concepts such as herd immunity and the reproductive number, elucidating their relevance within surveillance frameworks. Examples will include the Infodengue system, a nowcasting system developed from the perspective of transmission dynamics concepts. In conclusion, I address the hurdles faced in utilizing surveillance indicators, aiming to ignite debate and foster the evolution of novel analytical methodologies.
