FLORE BARBIER

I'm Flore Barbier, a chemical engineer with a degree in materials science and nanomaterials from the European School of Chemistry, Polymers and Materials in Strasbourg, France, and in advanced characterization methods from the University of Sherbrooke in Canada. I started working at Cameca in 2018 as a mass spectrometer test and installation engineer. Having installed numerous mass spectrometers and given advanced training as an applications engineer to researchers to help them develop their geosciences analyses, I am delighted to share with you the advantages of the secondary ion mass spectrometry (SIMS) technique, the different CAMECA instruments, as well as their analytical performances across various applications in geochronology, cosmochemistry and nuclear safeguard.
