Dorotea Frank Kersch has a PhD in Filology at Christian Albrechts Universität zu Kiel. She is currently professor at Applied Linguistics at UNISINOS. She is Director of Research and Pos-Graduate Department at UNISINOS and she was a Visitng Scholar at Texas Tech University

Ana Paula Rosa

Ana Paula da Rosa is coordinator and professor of Post-Graduate Program of Communication Science at UNISINOS. She has a PhD from Communication Sciences at UNISINOS and was a Visiting Scholar at Universidade Federal Fluminense (2018) in Niterói, Rio de Janeiro.

Adriana Amaral

Adriana Amaral is a Professor and Researcher at the Postgraduate Program of Communication Sciences at UNISINOS. She has a PhD in Social Communication at PUCRS and her research is mainly on digital fandoms. She is a CNPq Fellow (Federal Agency of Science and Technology). She is head of the research group CULTPOP (Popular Culture, Digital Media and Technologies). Adriana is also part of RISE-SMA Research Network and has been a visiting scholar at Universität Duisburg- Essen (Germany) and University of Surrey and University of Salford (UK).

Raquel Recuero

Dr. Raquel Recuero is an Associate Professor at the Languages and Communication Department at Universidade Federal de Pelotas (UFPEL/Brazil) and at the Post Graduate program of Communication and Information at Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS/Brazil). Her research has centered on social media and politics, with a particular focus on online discourse and online gender violence. She is the coordinator of MIDIARS, the Media, Discourse and Social Networks Research Group.

Suely Fragoso

Dr. Suely Fragoso is a Full Professor of the Post Graduate program of Communication at the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS/Brazil) and CNPq Research Fellow. She is also the coordinator of the Laboratory of Digital Artefacts (LAD/UFRGS), and was Open Chair of AoIR's 2008-2009 Executive Committee. Her research interests include digital materialities, space representations and games.

Ronaldo Henn

Ronaldo Henn is professor and researcher in the postgraduate program of Communication Sciences at UNISINOS and is head of the research group LIC (Research Laboratory of de Cyberevent). His research deals with the production of journalistic events in digital social networks and are funded by the CNPq Federal Agency of Science and Technology.

Lynn Schofield Clark is Professor and Chair of the Department of Media, Film, and Journalism Studies at the University of Denver and Director of the Estlow International Center for Journalism and New Media. She is a prize-winning author of several books and articles on the ways digital and mobile media are changing the lives and relationships of diverse adolescent. She serves as President of the international Association of Internet Researchers (AoIR).
