Research Laboratory on the Relationship between Childhood, Youth and Media (LabGRIM) + Research Network on Communication, Childhood and Adolescence (Recria)

The activity is defined as a conversation circle about the relationship of multiple Brazilian childhoods and adolescents with the digital environment. Representatives of LabGRIM and Recria will start from a brief presentation on the document 'Children, Adolescents and Screens - Guide on the Uses of Digital Devices' - launched in 2025 by the Federal Government in partnership with organized civil society organizations and academia (including the proponent entities) - to share different appropriations of the material with a view to promoting the rights of children and adolescents in the training of social communicators, educators, psychologists, etc. The experiences include research, teaching and extension initiatives experienced from the context of the public university and invite participants to appropriate the aforementioned Guide to foster responses that adhere to their contexts of action, focusing on the best interest of children and adolescents.
