International Network for Cultural Studies in Education (RIECEdu)

The International Network of Cultural Studies in Education (RIECEdu) has been built by researchers linked to Cultural Studies in Education (ECE) in Brazil and in other parts of the world. The meeting to be held at the 42nd National Meeting of ANPEd aims to promote the Network, create articulations with other researchers associated with ANPEd, and advance in its structuring, aiming at the official launch of RIECEdu during the Brazilian Seminar on Cultural Studies in Education (SBECE), which will take place in November, at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). ANPED, as an aggregating space for students, professors and researchers from different regions of the country, is configured as a fruitful space for the strengthening of actions aimed at the production and circulation of knowledge. The public expectation for the activity is approximately 30 people. The dissemination will be carried out through the channels of the research groups linked to the Network, as well as on the website of the Jornadas de Estudos Culturais em Educação (www.jece.com.br).
