Special Session 7 - Educational demands in the face of the advancement of ultraconservative projects

All over the world, ultraconservative projects are advancing that represent a serious threat to the democratic conquests achieved with a lot of struggle. Education is not immune to these attacks that put bodies, territories and knowledge at risk and the theme of the 42nd National Meeting of ANPEd & WERA Focal Meeting expresses the concern that has mobilized researchers committed to the struggles for the maintenance and expansion of democracy. It is this understanding and commitment that mobilized our Working Groups and Study Group to articulate and organize this Thematic Session that aims to provoke reflections, from our fields of research and diverse theoretical perspectives, which can enhance strategies intended to strengthen us as a network, expanding possibilities of confronting reactionary movements in the educational field.
