Artificial intelligence and its impact(s) on the human education process

What will we do with what we have done since the first attempts to build machines capable of thinking like human beings? How can we ensure that innovations serve human development and not alienation? From the perspective of Historical-Cultural Psychology, the transformations caused by Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the processes of human formation will be discussed. The algorithmization of life profoundly influences the formation of cognitive, affective, and ethical capacities of subjects and requires that the metamorphoses caused by AI in the construction of identity, in the autonomy of subjects, in teaching-learning relationships, in the world of work, and in the production of knowledge be discussed. The scenario is challenging and crosses society as a whole, increasingly requiring the cultivation of critical intelligence, capable of dialoguing with technology without submitting to it, reinforcing the importance and role of education.
