The present work aims to theoretically develop the notion of megafascism as an analytical key to understanding the production of contemporary subjectivity at the interface of neoliberalism and its consequences for Brazilian education. The immediate effect of the relationship between megafascism and neoliberalism implies the ways of thinking about interventions in education that are contrary to such dimensions. From the transmutation of historical fascism, the hypothesis maintains that megafascism is an open, complex, chaotic system, without centralized domination, however, capable of dissipating multiple meanings and manifestations of authoritarian, discriminatory, intolerant, anti-scientific, reactionary couplings, with identitarian brutalisms and deadly post-truths, directly implying the micropolitical constitution of existential territories. To this end, it investigates the implications of the mutation of the concept of fascism in the joint work of Deleuze and Guattari, however, revised by the advances of a critical fortune encompassing the unfolding of the profound social changes around the production of conservative contemporary capitalistic subjectivity. The methodology is supported by theoretical-bibliographic conceptual analyses, aiming at a philosophical activity of conceptual creation from the problematic field of education in the neoliberal scenario.
