Identities and frontiers of the Sociology of Education in Brazil: spaces, times and agents

The work aims to present the results of a survey answered by teachers of Sociology of Education and researchers in the sociological field. It is expected, with the development of this investigation, to contribute to the deepening of the debate on the agents that make the Brazilian Sociology of Education in the contemporary scenario, with a view to better understanding the national scientific field from such a plural and diversified area that, in the face of the advance of neoconservatism, has been confronted with the dissemination of common sense and fake news around themes dear to the relationship between education and society. The research was suggested by the members of WG 14 in the 41 RA of Anped as a way to better understand the working conditions of researchers in the sociological field, whether or not they participated in WG 14.
