This article analyzes CEE Resolution No. 97, of May 27, 2024, approved by the State Council of Education of Bahia, which establishes guidelines for the reorientation of anti-racist curriculum and pedagogical in educational institutions in all stages and modalities of Basic Education and Higher Education, linked to the state system. Based on Laws No. 10,639/2003 and 11,645/2008, the resolution reaffirms the state's commitment to the implementation of the teaching of Afro-Brazilian, African, Indigenous and Quilombola history and culture, incorporating principles of interdisciplinarity and contextualization. The article addresses the legal foundations, the normative provisions, the performance of the Special Commission and the challenges for the implementation of reparation and recognition policies in Bahian education.
