Prof. Dr. Hendryk Gemeiner

Lecture topics: Tracing the Origins of CO₂ and Helium in Mineral Spring Waters of the Water Circuit of Minas Gerais using Noble Gas Geochemistry.

Prof. Dr. Hendryk Gemeiner is an Associate Researcher at the Environmental Studies Center (CEA), São Paulo State University (UNESP), Rio Claro. He holds a PhD in Geosciences and Environment from UNESP. His research focuses on subsurface and groundwater gas analyses for tracing natural and injected CO₂, as well as on dissolved noble gas applications to determine paleotemperatures and aquifer recharge conditions. He completed a postdoc at the University of the Republic (UDELAR, Uruguay), investigating the groundwater flow in the Southern Guarani Aquifer System using noble gas geochemistry.
