Marco Tadeu Grassi holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry and a postdoctoral degree in Aquatic Chemistry from the University of Delaware. A professor at UFPR, he has served as Head of the Chemistry Department for two terms. His research focuses on Environmental Analytical Chemistry, including a patent for a low-cost DGT sampler and studies on metal and metalloid cycles in watersheds. He has published 109 papers and has supervised 31 master's dissertations and 21 doctoral theses. Additionally, he has participated in international research networks with collaborators in countries like Colombia and Sweden.
