Prof. Dr. Michaela Vašinová Galiová

Lecture topics: Highly Effective Chemotherapy Enabled by LA-ICP-MS: In Situ Tracing and Bioimaging of Organometallic Agents

Michaela Vašinová Galiová is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Chemistry, Brno University of Technology, in the Czech Republic. Her research in Analytical and Environmental Chemistry focuses on elemental mapping using laser-assisted methods for a wide range of applications, including biology, medicine, and geology. She currently specializes in oncological research, specifically the 2D and 3D imaging of organometallic derivatives used in cancer therapy. She also leads the Laboratory of Analytical and Environmental Chemistry and serves as the Vice-dean for Bachelor's and Master's studies.
