Fábio Andrei Duarte holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from UFSM and has served as a coordinator for several graduate programs at UFSM and FURG. With a strong focus on analytical chemistry, he has published 136 papers and holds two granted patents related to advanced sample preparation techniques. He has supervised 11 master's and 6 doctoral students and has been recognized with numerous awards for his research. His work has involved significant international collaboration with institutions in countries like Austria, Germany, and the U.S.
