Thomas Prohaska

Lecture topics: "Analyte/Matrix Separation Techniques For The Accurate Determination Of Isotope Amount Ratios By Plasma Based Spectroscopy"

Thomas Prohaska has been a Professor of Analytical Chemistry at Montanuniversität Leoben, Austria, since 2018. He holds a doctorate from the Technical University of Vienna and has a strong background in metrology from his time at the EG joint research center IRMM in Belgium. His research, with over 170 publications, focuses on elemental and isotopic analysis using mass spectrometry and chemical imaging. Currently, he is the Vice Rector for education and international affairs and head of the Department of General, Analytical and Physical Chemistry. This year marks his 30th anniversary in isotope ratio research.
