Prof. Dr. Johanna Irrgeher

Johanna Irrgeher is an Associate Professor of Analytical Chemistry at Montanuniversität Leoben, Austria, with an adjunct professorship at the University of Calgary. She leads a research group focused on advanced analytical methods for elemental and isotope ratio analysis, primarily using MC-ICP-MS. She holds a Ph.D. from BOKU University and has extensive international research experience. Since 2022, she has chaired the IUPAC Commission on Isotopic Abundances and Atomic Weights, the first woman to do so. Her work has earned her several prestigious awards.
