Prof. Dr. Frank Vanhaecke

Dr. Frank Vanhaecke holds a Ph.D. from Ghent University (UGent), where he is now a Senior Full Professor and leads the 'Atomic & Mass Spectrometry' research group. His expertise lies in ICP-MS for the determination, speciation, and isotopic analysis of trace elements. With over 500 peer-reviewed papers and an h-index of 66, he has supervised 52 Ph.D. students and received prestigious awards, including the European Plasma Spectrochemistry Award. He also holds various leadership roles at UGent and on the editorial boards of prominent journals.
