Lecture topics: ''Forensics Applied to Spectrometry''

She is Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry and is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the Faculty of Philosophy, Sciences and Letters of Ribeirão Preto, University of São Paulo, Brazil. She specializes in spectroanalytical techniques, including ICP-MS, ICP OES, and AAS, with expertise in sample preparation and method validation. Her research focuses on trace and isotopic analysis applied to environmental, forensic, and clinical studies. She investigates nanoparticle characterization, their toxicological implications, and bioaccessibility, including studies on dermal absorption using Franz diffusion cells. Additionally, she works on recovering critical elements from electronic waste within the circular economy framework. She develops innovative teaching strategies in chemical education, such as low-cost spectrometers, augmented reality applications, and gamification-based learning tools.
