Lecture topics: ''Analytical Method Validation''

Graduated in Chemistry from the University of Brasília (UnB) in 2002 and obtained his Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio) in 2014, investigating tools for determining platinum-containing biomolecules. He has been a researcher at the National Institute of Metrology, Quality, and Technology (Inmetro) since 2002, where he leads the Laboratory of Inorganic Analysis (Labin), coordinates the Technical Course in Metrology, and serves as a Permanent Professor in the Graduate Programs in Metrology and Quality (PPGMQ) and Metrology and Technology (PPGMT). He was a visiting researcher at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) from 2018 to 2019, developing strategies for determining iron-containing biomolecules. He represents Inmetro in several international metrology organizations, such as ISO, BIPM, and IMEKO. His research focuses on measurement science, with a particular interest in developing highly reliable methods using atomic spectrometry techniques.
