Dr. Paola Mello is currently an Associate Professor at the Universidade Federal de Santa Maria. She previously served in various academic leadership roles at UFSM, including as Department Head and Coordinator of Chemical Processes. With extensive experience in supervising over 50 projects and 12 theses, she is an active member of the ANP's PRH program and a director of the Brazilian Chemical Society's Analytical Chemistry Division. Her research focuses on Analytical Chemistry and industrial process intensification using ultrasound and microwaves.
