Prof. Dr. Ran Bi

Lecture topics: Arsenic Speciation in Marine Ecosystems

Dr. Ran Bi is an Associate Professor and doctoral supervisor at Shantou University's Institute of Marine Biology. She holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Science from Teesside University, UK. Her research focuses on the ecological and health impacts of xenobiotics, particularly the transport of trace elements in marine ecosystems.Dr. Bi has led multiple projects, including three funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. She serves on the board of the Guangdong Society of Environmental Sciences and is a reviewer for the NSFC and several international journals, such as Environmental Science & Technology and Marine Pollution Bulletin. She has published over 50 scientific papers and one book chapter.
