Ariel Sarotti

BSc in Industrial Chemistry (UCA, 2002) and PhD in Chemistry (UNR, 2007). Full Professor of Organic Chemistry at UNR and Principal Investigator at CONICET. Visiting Professor at UNICAMP. His research interests include organic synthesis, computational chemistry, spectroscopy, and artificial intelligence. He was a pioneer in Argentina in developing in silico structural elucidation tools based on quantum NMR calculations. He also made significant contributions to the design of chiral organocatalysts and the valorization of biomass waste into high-value compounds. Author of over 110 scientific publications, he has mentored numerous researchers and delivered invited lectures abroad. Honors include the RSC/BMOS Young Investigator Award (2013), Dr. Eduardo Gros Award (2017), Ranwell Caputto Award (2018), Houssay Award (2021), and Konex Award (2023).
